FAQs

  • Our consulting service is designed to provide you with an expert, tailored wound care and stoma management plan. We come in to assess your needs, create an initial care plan, and offer guidance on the best treatment options for both wound care and stoma management. We typically recommend that you have a nursing service or GP in place to carry out regular dressing changes and ongoing care.

For stoma care, we can help with appliance selection, troubleshooting, and providing guidance on how to manage your stoma confidently.

We also offer follow-up check-ins to assess the effectiveness of the treatment and make adjustments as needed. If you prefer, we can continue providing simple dressing changes for an additional fee. This ensures you have ongoing professional support while managing your wound care and stoma needs.

  • We provide services across the Northern Beaches, North Shore, and Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. If you are located outside these areas, please submit an enquiry, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Please note that additional travel fees may apply for out-of-area visits, which will be discussed at the time of booking.

  • Our fees are based on the complexity and duration of each consultation. Once we receive your booking form and the necessary details, we will provide a fee estimate specific to your needs. If you have any questions about pricing, please feel free to enquire.

  • Yes, we offer dressing change services. This can be provided as an additional service following an initial consultation for an extra fee. If you only require a dressing change, we can accommodate this as well. Please contact us for pricing and availability.

  • While we encourage individuals to manage their stoma care independently, we are happy to assist with changing your stoma appliance if needed. We can also provide support and troubleshooting to help you feel more confident in your stoma care routine.

  • No referral is required. We accept self-referrals, as well as bookings from GPs, hospitals, aged care facilities, and carers. However, supporting documentation—such as previous imaging, wound care plans, surgery details, or microbiology reports—is preferred and may need to be provided by your healthcare provider.

  • For patients in aged care facilities or hospitals, we will use the wound care products available on-site. If we recommend a specific product that isn’t stocked, we can guide you on where best to source it.
For private patients receiving care at home, you will need to provide your own dressings. We’re happy to recommend suitable products and advise on where to purchase them to ensure you have everything you need for optimal wound care.
