Clinical Services

The retention period for health records is 7 years after the last date of service for an adult as per the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW).

All disposals of records will be documented, including the type of record, the disposal method, and the date of disposal. This documentation will be kept for internal auditing and compliance purposes. Any changes will be documented and communicated to clients.
